David Becham dupes Halloween partygoers by dressing up as himself.

At The Telegraph's Christmas party last year, staff were
treated to - amongst others including Marilyn Monroe
and a pirate-ish Jonny Depp - a David Beckham look-a-
like. Were it not for the three lions crest sewn on to
the handsome chap's blazer, sadly we'd have been
none the wiser to his faked identity. But it appears that
party-goers in New York were duped by the real David
Beckham over the weekend.
     It was reported that the retired footballing superstar Becks
popped into the Halloween Hangover party at the
Bowery Hotel in Manhattan during the early hours of
Sunday morning.
      Shunning a costume, he was one of few at the party
who had opted not to get dressed up, and this worked
in his favour. "What's your costume?" a fellow guest is
said to have asked the father-of-four. "I'm going as
David Beckham," cunningly replied a dressed-down
Beckham, who got the response: "Wow, you look just
like him!"
           To be honest, we didn't think Becks had it in him to be
so devious. Just goes to show that perhaps those look-a-
likes should always be written off so easily...
